Alp delved into web3 during his studies, leveraging IBM's food chain for supply management of "ugly" foods to produce meal replacements. He later contributed to the EU Horizon Grants and advised organizations in partnership with the UN. By 2019, he returned to web3, aiding DAO formation with Gitcoin, designing the DAO2DAO ecosystem for Prime, supporting ReFi's growth with Celo, and eventually founding Inverter Network in collaboration with Blockscience's mechanism design research groups.
